Do you have a refund policy?
YES. While full payment is expected by the respective programs’
‘Registration Due Date’, which is always 2-weeks before the 1st
session program start date, the specifics behind our refund policies
are as follows:
- A) If your child pulls-out of any session after registering
before the 1st session start date, you will qualify for 80%
refund. A 20% assessment of the full fee is non-refundable (i.e.
$60.00 is non-refundable for a 12 x 2-hour clinic session program
costing $295.00).
- B) If your child pulls-out of any session due to a doctor
verified injury, after the 1st session of a specific program, you
will qualify for a pro-rated credit which can be applied to any
future Soccer Training Academy program (i.e. if your child only
makes 6 of the 12 sessions before the doctor verified injury
occurred a $147.50 credit will be awarded).
- C) If your child simply stops attending our Soccer Training
Academy programs for no medical reason; there is no refund or
credit available.
Do you have make-up dates because of family commitments?
Unfortunately, there are no specific make-up dates for any of our
Soccer Training Academy programs. On a case-by-case basis, we may be
able to honor a make-up day if there’s a similar program being
offered during the same time period; however, this is based on
available space in the respective program. Thank you in advance for
your understanding.
Is there a start & end date for Soccer Training Academy
programs?
YES. Each program begins on the day of the first session and ends
the day of the last session.
What are the clinic sizes for Soccer Training Academy
programs?
Player numbers will range between 12-16 participants per program.
The laser focus approach of Soccer Training Academy programs is to
give every player the individual attention they need to build
competence and confidence on the soccer field.
Who will be training my child at Soccer Training Academy
programs?
- The two primary coaches at Soccer Training Academy are Neil
Johnson and Jonathan Rhodes. Player and coaching biographies for
both coaches are available on our website, under ‘Staff’.
- At our smaller clinic sessions, one or both of these coaches
will be directing the sessions.
- At our larger programs, such as camps, additional trainers
will be available to assist our Camp Director (Jonathan Rhodes).
This will ensure an optimum player/trainer ratio.
Will my child be placed in a group with other players of
similar age and ability?
YES. Players are placed into age appropriate groups.
Can parents stay and observe Soccer Training Academy programs?
YES. Parents are welcome to observe all sessions, providing they
position themselves away from the playing area to avoid any
distractions.
Will the sessions be adapted to fit my child's specific needs?
YES. Each player's development will be based on our age-appropriate
Soccer Training Academy curriculum. Additionally, our coaching staff
will address the specific needs of each player during multiple
sessions.
What equipment does my child need in order to participate in
Soccer Training Academy programs?
- Players will need to bring with them to clinics and camps
their shin guards, a water bottle, and soccer shoes (i.e. indoor
soccer shoes for our indoor clinics; outdoor soccer shoes for our
outdoor camps. If in doubt just contact us at
info@soccertrainingacademy.org).
- Each player will be given a FREE Soccer Training Academy
T-Shirt.
- Players are requested to wear black shorts and white socks for
each clinic or camp session.
If my child can’t attend a session, what should I do?
If you are able, simply send an email to
info@soccertrainingacademy.org 1-hour before the start of the
session.
If I’m late to pick up my child after one of the sessions,
what should I do?
The coaching staff will generally wait ~10 minutes at the end of
each session before leaving. Being a few minutes late shouldn’t be a
problem. If you are aware that you will be any more than 10-minutes
late to pick up your child, please call one of the coaches to give
them a heads-up so they will wait with your child until you arrive.
In case of inclement weather, what should I do?
Simply check our web site at soccertrainingacademy.org and check
our Message Board located at the top of the ‘home’ web page.
